Hassan was Visiting Professor of Pakistan Studies (1996-1999 ) at the Columbia University . He was Allama Iqbal Professor at Heidelberg University (1988-1991) of Germany . Currently Hasan askari serving as professor of political science at the Punjab University Lahore. He also appears on different Tv Channels to discuss on country’s political and domestic situation .
